Après avoir mis le pied à l’étrier à plusieurs générations de skaters, RACKAM,
ce pilier et doyen du skateboard Manceau et un des plus emblématique représentant du Snam Zoo,
a tiré sa révérence jeudi dernier, le 20 mars 2008.
La ferveur avec laquelle il a vécu sa passion pour le skateboard pendant plus de 20 ans,
son intégrité et sa générosité en avaient fait un mentor et un grand frère pour beaucoup.
Cet éternel sourire sur son visage et la bonne humeur qu’il distillait lors des sessions
nous manqueront longtemps.
Tout Metropolitan souhaite se joindre au Zoo pour surmonter cette épreuve
et adresse une pensée chaleureuse à sa famille, à son frère Babas,
et à tous ceux qui l’ont accompagné durant toutes ses années.

STREET MACHINE skateshop of Copenhagen just released its video and it is entitled: "Quiet Days in Copenhagen".
The team is quite big and includes a big number of young guns, all having a really tech style of skating.
Anton Juul has a little section in there with a lot of lines and still a really smooth style.

A first good news to start 2008. We are very pleased to announce you that the Metropolitan family has welcomed
a new member to start this new year on the right foot.
JJ Rousseau has approved our boards after trying them in a cold and rainy french winter and wished to get more of
them, so there he goes! Welcome on board JJ,we hope we’ll share some good moments with you.

Metropolitan vient d’accueillir un nouveau membre pour débuter cette année sur le bon pied. JJ Rouseau
a approuvé nos boards après les avoir essayé dans le froid et la pluie de l’hiver français

Another news on Damien Marzoca from Grenoble. He has 2 good pics in the new
SUGAR mag also, in the one he's on the cover! Unfortunately, he just
dislocated his shoulder few days ago at the Gerland skatepark in Lyon and
will also have a little surgery of the hip pretty soon too. So, he's gonna
have to chill for the next couple of months. As you can see he's not
nicknamed "Tout Pourri" (All fucked up) for no reason.
Une autre news sur Damien Marzoca de Grenoble. Il a 2 bonnes photos dans le
nouveau SUGAR dont il fait la cover. Malheureusement, il vient de se
deboiter l'epaule il y a 2 jours au skatepark de Gerland a Lyon et devrait
aussi subir un operation mineure de la hanche bientot. Il sera donc force de
chiller pour les 3 prochains mois minimum. Il n'est pas surnomme "Tout
Pourri" pour rien!
